Palestinian refugee Abu Ubeida Al-Khatib, nicknamed the Palestinian, sustained wounds after anonymous gunmen attempted to assassinate him using an explosive device.
The incident occurred in the opposition-run western coastal territory.
Abu Ubeida is an affiliate of the opposition battalions and a resident of Al-Neirab Camp for Palestinian refugees in Aleppo.
Speaking with AGPS, activists attributed the assassination attempt to a live footage posted on Abu Ubeida’s Facebook page, in which he accused armed factions of forfeiting Aleppo and throwing in the towel.
