The General Authority for Palestine Refugees on Wednesday put into effect Resolution No. 46, which was issued on December 18, 2016, to form a local committee to administer Yarmouk affairs, previously run the local council.
The committee is expected to manage the affairs of Palestinian refugee camps in Syria in line with the idiosyncrasy of the socio-political situation.
The newly-appointed nine-member team includes a chairman, a secretariat, a relief office, an education office, an activities department, a services bureau, a statistics and documentation bureau, an information office, and a financial department.
