Syrian Gov’t Air Strikes Rock Al-Muzeireeb Town in Southern Syria

The Syrian government warplanes on Thursday hit the eastern corners of Syria’s southern town of Al-Muzeireeb with two air strikes.

Located some 11 kilometers away from northwestern Deraa province, Al-Muzeireeb town is a home to some 8,500 Palestinian refugees, mostly displaced from northern occupied Palestine. Hundreds of families displaced from Deraa Camp have also been housed in the area.

Onslaughts rocking the town over recent months took away the lives of several civilians and left dozens of others wounded. Heavy material damage has also been inflicted on civilian buildings and structures in the town.

AGPS documented the death of 38 Palestinian refugees sheltered in Al-Muzeireeb since the outburst of bloody hostilities in Syria.
