The Syrian government forces deployed at a checkpoint pitched near a consumer services company in Deraa Al-Mahatta struck the Deraa Camp for Palestinian refugees with a spate of tank mortars and machinegun fire, resulting in material damage.
The onslaught has added insult to injury in an area where civilians have already been grappling with abject living conditions due to the tough blockade slapped by the regime troops.
AGPS on-the-spot reporter said Deraa residents have run out of much-needed food items, medical kit, and fuel reserves.
