AGPS documented the death of nine Palestinian refugees during January 2017, four among whom killed by gunfire and another two due to shelling. Two refugees were, meanwhile, fatally gunned down by sniper bullets while another drowned at sea.
As for the geographical distribution of the casualties, AGPS recorded the death of three refugees in Deraa, three in Rural Damascus, one refugee in Idlib, and another in Damascus. The ninth refugee died in an unknown location.
