Preparing 1200 Food Baskets to be Distributed in Khan Danoun Camp

The Charity Commission for the Relief of the Palestinian People received about 1200 food baskets after preparing them with food items in order to be distributed on the residents of Khan Danoun camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus suburb, the charity commission distributed the food cards from the Commission statistics department in order to ease the distribution process. It is referred that the residents of Khan Danoun camp suffer of clear lack of relief activities in light of the difficult situation that they live in due to the unavailability of charity societies or local committees because of the security tightening and the arrest campaigns that targeted several relief activist by the Syrian Regime forces, which led the committees to close in order to save its activists lives. Khan Danoun is considered the poorest amongst the Palestinian camps in Syria where they depend on the financial and relief aids of UNRWA once in a while. Moreover, the residents complain from the sever living crises such as the shortage of food materials, unemployment spread and poverty in addition to the continuation of power, water and telecommunications for long periods.
