Palestinian Refugee Tortured to Death in Syrian Gov’t Jail, Torture Death Toll Hits 459

Palestinian resident of Syria-based Yarmouk Camp Bassam Ali Youssef, born in 1978, died under torture in Syrian government lock-ups.

The casualty was kidnapped in 2013 from a UNRWA-run vocational education center in Al-Mezzeh, in Damascus.

According to AGPS statistics, 459 Palestinian refugees were tortured to death in Syrian penal complexes.
