Civilians stranded in Fatah Al Sham-run Al Rija Square, to the west of Yarmouk Camp, have fled the area in the hunt for a safer shelter.
The exodus comes at a time when the camp has been subjected to a twofold blockade imposed by the government forces and ISIS militias.
Over the past couple of days, at least 10 families fled the area while others have remained stranded in ISIS-run zones. A number of families reportedly headed to the nearby towns of Yalda, Babilla, and Beit Sahem.
Some 80 families trapped in Fatah Al Sham-controlled territories in Yarmouk have, meanwhile, been grappling with abject humanitarian conditions as a result of the tough cordon.
