Injuries Reported as Gov’ Forces Attack Wedding Ceremony in Khan AlSheih Camp

The Syrian government forces, escorted by conscripts at the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA), came down heavily on a wedding ceremony celebrated in Khan AlSheih camp, in Damascus western outskirts.

Reporting from the scene, AGPS correspondent said inebriated government squads and PLA recruits stepped into the wedding ceremony of a Palestinian refugee in Khan AlSheih’s western neighborhood.

A fistfight and a knife fight broke out following the assault. The Syrian government forces attacked civilians with randomly-shot spates of live ammunition and wreaked havoc on civilian homes in search for alleged anti-government protesters. A number of residents who were in attendance sustained injuries in the assault.

The Syrian regime troops have tightened military grip on Khan AlSheih Camp, blocking civilians’ free access out of and into the shelter.
