Reporting from southern Damascus, AGPS correspondent said the Syrian government forces struck on Tuesday AlMuzeireeb town, in Deraa’s western outskirts, with spates of barrel bombs.
The regime squads further targeted AlMuzeireeb’s outer edges with mortar shells. 36-year-old Palestinian refugee Ziad Suleiman AlRamah, from AlSeiteriya Community, was pronounced dead in the offensive.
A few days earlier, an attack on AlMuzeireeb took away the life of Palestinian child Emad Jihad Dhiab. At the same time, deadly hostilities by the government forces and the opposition battalions, along with the abrupt abduction sweeps, have hit climactic levels in the area.
AlMuzeireeb is home to 1,700 Palestinian families, who have been enduring abject living conditions due to the tough blockade enforced on the area and the lack of financial resources.
