The Palestine Charity Commission handed out winter clothes and gifts to AlDimashqiya kindergarteners, in Yalda, south of Damascus province.
The move, which makes part of the “Winter Dress 2” campaign, seemed to have sparked a gleam of hope among children who have gone traumatized by daily images of war and destruction.
Palestinian and Syrian families in southern Damascus have frequently launched cries for help over the acute food dearth and high unemployment rates, making living conditions in the area just unbearable.
The commission further distributed 300 bread bundles to families displaced from Jilin and its environs in AlMuzeireeb town, south of Syria.
The charity further secured water supplies to 50 displaced families and handed over 70 blankets to southern Syria families.
Dozens of Palestinian and Syrian families fled Jilin for fear of being killed in the massacres perpetrated by ISIS mobs in the area.
