Residents of Yarmouk and Deraa camps have launched cries for help over the acute water crisis, saying they have been forced to drink water spouting from contaminated artesian wells.
Speaking with AGPS, experts warned of the life-threatening diseases inflicted by the unhygienic artesian wells due to the germ-infested deposits accumulated in the absence of water-disinfection endeavors.
The Syrian government has cut off water supplies to Yarmouk Camp for over 870 days running and to Deraa Camp for over 1,063 consecutive days.
