Syria Breakaway Leaks 28,000 Photos of Torture Victims

A Syrian military police defector arrived in Holland with 28,000 horrific photos showing thousands of people who were tortured to death in government penitentiaries.

The English-speaking Daily Mail newspaper quoted a Dutch official as stating that the breakaway smuggled SD memory cards in his socks before he seeped out to Holland.

In April 2014, nearly 55,000 images of 11,000 victims of torture, including women and children, were leaked by a military police photographer, codenamed Caesar.

Following a probe launched by AGPS into Caesar’s leaked snapshots, the group identified 77 victims as Palestinian refugees.
