Reporting from southern Syria, AGPS news correspondent said four Palestinian refugees sustained moderate to serious wounds after they were attacked by ISIS-affiliated Khaled Brigade in Deraa’s western edges.
The four refugees were injured on their way out of ISIS-run Jilin Camp, in the hunt for a safer shelter.
AGPS reporter said one of the refugees—Khaled AlDhaher—is in a critical condition.
At the same time, deadly clashes have been spotted on the outer edges of Jilin Camp, the Libyan Company, and Tel Ashtarah between Khaled Brigade and the opposition outfits.
On Sunday, Palestinian refugee Ali AlMohamed, from AlMoualaka, in AlQuneitra’s southern outskirts, was kidnapped and executed by ISIS mobs. Last month three Palestinian refugees—Mohamed Kamal AlBeitari (a resident of Tafas town), Faraj Mohamed Faraj, and Faris Ali AlGhazawi—endured similar fates after ISIS fighters broke into Jilin town.
Palestinian refugees sheltered in Jilin and Tseil, south of Syria, have frequently sounded the alarm over the security mayhem rocking the area due to ISIS crackdowns.
Located 25 kilometers away from northwestern Deraa city center, Jilin is home to 500 Palestinian families, mostly displaced from territories occupied in 1948 (Green Line). Other families from the occupied West Bank and the blockaded Gaza Strip have also been housed in the area.
