AGPS Semi-Annual Report: Palestinians from Syria Subjected to Forced Deportation

A report issued by AGPS and the Palestinian Return Centre under the title “Palestinians from Syria and the Closed Doors” warned of the restrictions slapped by the regime troops on Palestinians’ access into their disarmed refugee camps, namely the evacuated AlSbeina Camp. A number of pro-government residents of AlHusseiniya Camp were allowed partial access to the shelter.

According to the report, 250 Palestinian families were forced out of Khan AlSheih Camp to Idlib during the last quarter of 2016, following a deal between the Syrian government and the opposition groups.

The report sheds light on the exacerbated situation endured by the Palestinians of Syria as a result of the raging Syrian warfare and the tragic fallouts inflicted on the Palestinian refugee community, including the mass waves of enforced deportation, dislodgement, the tough blockade, and carnages.

At the same time, the report provides a detailed account of the violations perpetrated against the Palestinians from Syria on the asylum-seeking road and in such new destinations as Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, and Europe.
