Palestinian Refugee Fatally Shot by Gendarme on His Way to Turkey

Palestinian refugee Mohamed Ghazawi, a resident of Yarmouk Camp, was shot and killed by a gendarme as he attempted to enter the Turkish territories, fleeing war-torn Syria.

AGPS documented the death of 3,477 Palestinians from Syria due to war-related incidents.

The Turkish authorities have opted for a closed-door immigration policy, banning Palestinians from Syria from entering Turkey.
