Residents of Khan Dannun Camp for Palestinian refugees in Rif Dimashq have set off alarm bells over the acute water crisis, forcing civilians to purchase expensive tank water.
AGPS field correspondent said over recent days water supplies have been cut off across a number of Khan Dannun neighborhoods, including AlAkkad, AlLud, Jericho, and other quarters near the new water tank.
The residents called on the government institutions and UNRWA to urgently step in and work out the crisis at the soonest time possible.
Living conditions in Khan Dannun have also sharply deteriorated due to the lack of financial resources and high unemployment rates wrought by the raging warfare.
