Palestinian refugee Hesham Kasem, a resident of Khan Dannun Camp, was released from an opposition-run penitentiary in AlKabon, east of Damascus, where he had been held for months.
Kasem was reportedly released following a military operation launched by the government forces on opposition-led sites and strongholds. 34 soldiers held captive by the opposition were also freed in the operation.
