Clashes Flare Up in Yarmouk as Tahrir AlSham Detonates ISIS Tunnel

Tahrir AlSham battalion in Yarmouk Camp blew up an ISIS tunnel near Loubiya Street, sparking clashes inside the tunnel.

Simmering clashes between ISIS and Tahrir AlSham (formerly known as AlNusra Front) have rocked Yarmouk Camp Since early April 2016.

Some 3,000 Palestinians trapped inside Yarmouk have been enduring dire conditions due to the blockade imposed by the government forces on the camp. Over 10,000 Palestinian refugees displaced from Yarmouk to Babila, Yalda and Beit Sahem have also been grappling with tragic conditions after they were forced out of their homes, following ISIS takeover of the camp in early April 2015.
