ISIS have tightened grip on the residents of Jilin Camp, in Daraa’s western outskirts. ISIS militias also ordered civilians to evacuate their homes.
A massacre was perpetrated in ISIS by the end of February 2017 after ISIS-affiliated Khaled Ibn AlWalid battalion held sway over the town, following clashes with the regime army and their war partners.
An attack launched by ISIS by the end of March left four refugees wounded as they attempted to flee the camp.
Located 25 kilometers away from northwestern Daraa city center, Jilin is home to 500 families, mostly displaced from Palestinian territories occupied in 1948. A number of other families are from the occupied West Bank and the blockaded Gaza Strip.
