Yarmouk Residents Stand Up For Palestinian Hunger Strikers in Israeli Jails

A series of protest moves was held by the Palestinian refugees displaced from Yarmouk to Yalda town, south of Damascus, in solidarity with the Palestinian detainees who have been on an open-ended hunger strike for the 10th day running in Israeli jails.

“The Palestinians of Syria know very well how it feels like to be detained and tortured,” activist Abu Ahmed said. “The Palestinians of Syria have been enduring a similar fate as their brothers and sisters in Israeli jails.”

AGPS kept record of the incarceration of 1,187 Palestinian refugees in Syrian government lock-ups, where 461 refugees also died under torture.
