Palestinian caricaturist from Syria Hani Abbas read part of foreword to his novel, slated to be published in the near future. The novel sheds light on experiences he had gone through in Syria.
The event was held on the sidelines of the International Book Fair held in the Swedish city of Geneva.
Born in 1977 in Yarmouk Camp, in Damascus, Hani Abbas established comics exhibitions since 1998 in Syria and other Arab countries. He has also held over 15 solo exhibitions and won the first prize in the competition of professional painters. In 2014, he earned a renowned international prize.
