Civilians and activists displaced from Yarmouk and those stranded in the camp called for a mass participation in e-campaigns staged in solidarity with the Palestinian hunger strikers in Israeli jails. The campaigners launched calls for multiplying posts on social media networks using the #dignity_strike hashtag starting 08:00 p.m. Damascus time.
A rally is also slated to be staged outside the office of the Palestine Charity Commission in Yalda. The rally-goers are expected to embark on a two-day hunger strike in protest at the apathy maintained by the international community.
