UNRWA Delivers Second Batch of 2017 Cash Assistance to Palestinian Refugees in Aleppo

Palestinian refugees in Aleppo received text messages from UNRWA notifying of the time and place for the delivery of the second batch of cash aids for 2017.

Every family member is expected to receive 33,000 Syrian Pounds. Those sheltered in UNRWA centers will get 16,500 Syrian Pounds per every family member.

Nearly 450,000 Palestinian refugees have been sheltered in war-torn Syria, among whom 280,000 internally displaced refugees, according to UNRWA statistics until the end of December 2016.
