More than 300 Palestinian Refugees were Missed since the War Started in Syria

The AGPS Monitoring and Documentation Team documented 303 Palestinian refugees who were missing since the start of the war in Syria, including 38 women. The group reported that more than half of the missing were from the Yarmouk refugee camp south of the capital Damascus.
Activists accused pro- Syrian security groups of kidnap and arrest, either because the missing man was wanted by Syrian security, or to bargain with the kidnapped family and demand a ransom for his release.

In addition, there are a large number of missing persons in the prisons of the Syrian regime. Security is still being reticent on their fate or places of detention, as confirmed by testimonies of released prisoners that there are Palestinian refugees who are missing in the prisons of the regime.

It should be noted that the AGPS monitoring and documentation team confirmed that the number is greater because of the secrecy of Syrian security and its loyal groups about the fate of the kidnapped Palestinians, in addition to some Palestinian refugees who were kidnapped by the Nusra Front in the Yarmouk refugee camp, and by ISIS.
