Khan Dannon camp hosts thousands of people from the camps that have deteriorated security conditions, especially Yarmouk, Husseinia, Sayeda Zeinab, and Sbeineh, for the fact that it is not involved in the ongoing events in Syria, however, at a time, there have been some clashes inside the camp between groups of FSA and the Regular army, which led to the injury of a number of its residents, while seven residents died and about a half of them died due to torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime.
In terms of living aspect, the camp is suffering from a worsening economic situation, acute shortage of food and medical supplies, shortages in flour and bread, as a result of the difficulty of access and the increasing number of refugees, combined with high unemployment rate.
