The Palestinian elderly woman Maysar Sakhneini has been detained by the Lebanese authorities at Rafic Hariri International Airport on her way back from Saudi Arabia.
The Lebanese authorities attributed the move to official instructions banning the entry of the Palestinians from Syria.
In appeals circulated on social media networks, the detained refugee called on the Palestine Liberation Organization, along with the Palestinian embassy and factions in Lebanon, to urgently step in and work on granting her a safe passage to Syria via Lebanon.
