Amnesty International slammed, in a report issued on May 19, the Swedish authorities for complicating family reunification procedures for migrants from Syria.
Amnesty said Sweden has opted for a closed-door immigration policy in order to rein in the influx of migrants who wish to join their families in Sweden.
Amnesty condemned the new regulations and restrictions opted for by Sweden and other European states under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
