Daraa Camp for Palestinian refugees and its environs were struck with ground-to-ground missiles and barrel bombs.
AGPS news correspondent said over the past couple of days the camp had come under heavy shelling. The government forces targeted the camp and its vicinities with 43 surface-to-surface missiles and 12 barrel bombs, resulting in heavy material damage.
At the same time, clashes have been ongoing since the early morning hours between the Syrian government forces and the opposition outfits using heavy and medium weapons.
Over the past couple of weeks, the Syrian regime army has stepped up military offensives on Daraa province in an attempt to grab hold of the area and force the opposition fighters to retreat to the northern Syrian province of Idlib.
