Informed sources told AGPS that the Syrian government allowed on Thursday the former Emir (chief) of Tahrir AlSham Commission, Abu Jihad AlFourani, and his family, a safe access out of southern Damascus.
According to the same source, AlFourani and his family fled Yarmouk Camp to AlMa’dhaniya neighborhood sometime earlier, before they were deported to northern Syria via AlMa’dhaniya checkpoint in AlKadam area in exchange for the retreat of four critically-wounded persons and their 12 family members from Kafriya and AlFou’a.
Tahrir AlSham Commission, formerly known as AlNusra Front, have tightened grip on Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees at the same time as ISIS militias have seized large areas of the camp. ISIS broke into the area in early April 2015 in cooperation with AlNusra Front.
