The Palestinian Embassy in Turkey, in partnership with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, handed over cash aids and food baskets to a number of displaced Palestinian families from Syria in Turkey. Every family member received a sum of 100 Turkish Liras. One food box was distributed per every single family.
Some 8,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria have been enduring abject conditions in the Turkish territories due to the high rates of poverty and unemployment, along with the absence of relief assistance.
