293 Palestinian Refugees Die Due to Torture in the Syrian Prisons and 166 Victims Die Due to the Yarmouk Siege

The AGPS documentation and monitoring team announced that they documented 293 Palestinian Syrian refugee victims who died due to torture in the Syrian prisons and it is expected that the number is larger, since some families refuse to reveal the death of their relatives for fear of harassments and arrests by the Syrian security forces.

In the same context, the AGPS confirmed that it documented the names of 166 Palestinian refugee victims who died due to the lack of medical care and malnutrition because of the strict siege imposed on the Yarmouk camp by the Syrian regular army and the PFGC groups.

It is mentioned that the total number of the Palestinian victims who were documented by the AGPS has reached 2652 victims that were documented in details; names, places and reasons of death.
