Sick civilians in Yarmouk Camp continue to launch cries for help as they have been denied access to Damascus hospitals for urgent treatment via checkpoints run by the Syrian government forces and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – General Command.
A sick civilian had part of his leg amputated after his health status had taken a turn for the worse due to a blockage infecting his left femoral artery. The patient needs therapy at least once every five days. Sometime earlier, he had undergone a leg surgery. Ever since, he has been denied access to Damascus hospitals on account that no official authorization has been granted by Palestine Branch.
