Palestinian refugee Abdul Kadir Ali Rgheis was released from Syrian government penitentiaries, where he had been held for over three years.
Rgheis was kidnapped by the government troops at Hjeira checkpoint on May 1, 2014. Dozens of Palestinians were kidnapped on the same day on their way out of besieged Yarmouk via Ali AlWahsh thoroughfare, seeking a safer shelter. A number of arrestees were executed on the spot while the others were dragged to unknown locations.
Several civilians sheltered in Yarmouk have died as a result of the medical neglect and undernourishment inflicted by the tough blockade imposed by the Syrian regime forces and their war partners.
