2 Sick Members of AlNusra Front Evacuated from Yarmouk Camp

Reporting from Yarmouk Camp, AGPS news correspondent said two sick members of Tahrir AlSham Commission (formerly known as AlNusra Front) were allowed access out of besieged Yarmouk in exchange for the safe retreat of two persons from AlFou’a and Kafria, north of Syria.

The move dovetails the Kafria and AlFou’a agreement signed between the Syrian government and Tahrir AlSham.

According to pro-government forces, some 130 members of Tahrir AlSham have been taking cover in Tahrir AlSham-led zones in Yarmouk and are expected to retreat to northern Syria sometime soon as part of the four-town deal struck with the Syrian government.

Civilians stranded in Yarmouk Camp have been enduring dire conditions due to the bloody hostilities rocking the area and the tough blockade enforced by the Syrian regime troops and their abettors since mid-2013. The situation has gone from bad to worse due to the cordon imposed by ISIS on the camp’s western corners, controlled by Tahrir AlSham.
