The Swedish Migration Agency turned down the appeals of a Palestinian family from Syria to reunite with their 15-year-old son in Sweden.
The son was granted the Swedish citizenship following a two-year stay in Sweden.
The family said they were shocked by the ban, issued by the Swedish authorities on claims that the son earned the Swedish nationality and has no longer the right to family reunification.
The family appealed, in letters emailed to AGPS, to the concerned human rights institutions to urgently step in and work on reuniting them with their son.
