Political Bureau Chairman of Hamas, Ismail Haneyya, called for a serious and urgent action as regards the Palestinians of Syria, vowing that his movement will forever rally around them.
In a historical speech broadcast from the blockaded Gaza Strip on Wednesday, Haneyya sounded the alarm over the tragedy of the Palestinians of Syria, who have been subjected to displacement, enforced deportation, and violation of their basic rights.
Haneyya stressed Hamas’s commitment to work out the crises endured by the Palestinians sheltered in refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, among other destinations.
Haneyya appealed to the UN to take up its duty as regards the Palestinian refugees until they return to their motherland.
