July 12 marks the second anniversary of the death of Mustafa AlShar’an, nicknamed Abu Muadh. The latter was responsible for the relief file at the Palestine Charity Commission. He was shot and killed by anonymous gunmen on July 12, 2015 on his way out of Abdul Kadir AlHusseini Mosque, in Yarmouk, after Tarawih (Ramadan evening prayers). He was transferred to the nearby Yalda town for urgent treatment but succumbed to his wounds one hour later.
16 Palestinian residents of Yarmouk Camp were assassinated between March 2012 and July 2017.
