ISIS has declared neighborhoods adjacent to AlShuhadaa Strip, north of the blockaded Yarmouk Camp, closed military zones, shortly after they blocked them off under the security pretext.
AGPS news correspondent said ISIS militias transferred civilians’ furniture and belongings in the area to the group’s stronghold in AlHajar AlAswad.
Recently, ISIS has stepped up crackdowns and evacuation orders in areas adjacent to Taharir AlSham-led zones.
At the same time, ISIS has tightened military grip in AlRija, Haifa Street, and Safouriya, west of Yarmouk Camp, on claims that they are controlled by Fatah AlSham rivals.
A set of security cameras has also been installed in ISIS-run facilities and sites near Yalda town so as to tighten the noose around civilians’ neck in the camp.
A couple of days earlier, a series of snapshots circulated on Facebook showed ISIS militants as smashing headstones of several tombs in the Yarmouk cemetery under the religious pretext. Similar assaults have been carried out by ISIS in Yarmouk’s New Cemetery.
Yarmouk graveyard had also come under heavy shelling by the Syrian regime army and their war abettors, resulting in heavy material damage.
