The family of the Palestinian refugee Jumu’a Mohamed Eid, a resident of Handarat Camp, in Aleppo, appealed to the human rights institutions to urgently work on disclosing the fate of their relative, who has gone missing for three years and a half.
In a letter emailed to AGPS, the family said their relative was taking shelter in Deir Yassin Street, in Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees, south of Damascus, when he has gone missing. His fate has been shrouded in mystery so far.
According to AGPS data, over 300 Palestinian refugees have gone missing since the outbreak of the Syrian warfare, 38 among whom identified as female refugees. Over half of the missing Palestinians are residents of Yarmouk Camp.
