The anti-government Jaysh AlIslam and Liwa Sham AlRasoul battalions rejected the terms of an agreement to unblock Yalda-Yarmouk thoroughfare.
Recently, an agreement has been struck between Yalda Militants Coalition, south of Damascus, and ISIS to secure a humanitarian passageway between Yarmouk Camp and Yalda town from 07:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. The deal also stipulates that civil defense ambulances safely enter/exit the area from 07:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. to evacuate emergency cases.
Hundreds of Palestinian families fled Yarmouk after ISIS held sway over the camp in early April 2015.
