Aid to Be Delivered to Tahrir AlSham in Yarmouk

UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura said during a press conference that aids are expected to be delivered to Yarmouk Camp, Kafria, and AlFou’a.

AGPS reporter quoted local sources in Tahrir AlSham-led zones in Yarmouk as stating that they have been awaiting aids slated to be handed over by the Syrian government.

Yarmouk Camp comes as the fifth area covered by the terms of a so-called “five-town agreement” unraveled by the anti-government Tahrir AlSham battalion.

The first articles of the agreement stipulate that in the first phase medical and food Aid be allowed to enter the camp and that emergency cases be allowed access out of the area. In the second phase, militants and those who wish to leave for Idlib will be granted a safe passage.

Tahrir AlSham battalion, comprising some 130 fighters, is expected to retreat to northern Syria as part of the four-town agreement struck with the Syrian government.
