ISIS militants continue to lift the iron barriers separating areas controlled by ISIS and Tahrir AlSham. At the same time, families’ access to fuel and foodstuff has been blocked by ISIS.
A tough blockade has been imposed on Yarmouk by Syria’s pro-regime troops for 1,488 consecutive days. ISIS has also been controlling large areas of Yarmouk since early April 2015, forcing hundreds of families to flee to nearby shelters.
