Opposition troops deployed at Yalda checkpoint banned on Wednesday the delivery of food items, except for bread and milk, to Yarmouk Camp.
A tough blockade has been imposed on Yarmouk by the Syrian government forces and their war abettors since mid 2013. Chronic water and power blackouts have added bad to worse.
In the meantime, AGPS news correspondent in Yarmouk said the opposition militants stationed at Yalda checkpoint gave a green light to the entry of much-needed items and foodstuff into Yarmouk Camp.
Movement has reportedly been back to normal at Yalda thoroughfare. Security measures have, meanwhile, been upheld to monitor civilians’ access out of and into Yarmouk.
