Neighboring countries close their borders, preventing displaced Palestinian-Syrians from meeting their families.

More than 120 thousand Palestinian refugees in Syria are suffering from an emotional state that has tarnished their excitement for Eid al-Adha. The war led to the dispersal of the refugees across more than 20 countries. Europe alone has received more than 82 thousand Palestinian-Syrians. Barely have any families survived being displaced or dispersed around the world or across the Syrian towns and cities.

Statistics have shown that the Palestinian-Syrians have been distributed between Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Libya and Sudan. With addition to Thailand, Malaysia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, France, Brazil, Chile, Canada and other countries.

UNRWA latest reports also show that more than 120,000 Palestinian refugees fled the country because of the war in Syria.

Neighboring Arab countries’ embassies exacerbated the situation, by hindering the issuance of any entry visas to their countries, for any refugees coming from Europe or Syria, making family reunions even more difficult.
