The Director of Education at UNRWA, Mr. Samir Abdel Rahim investigated the reality of education in Husseiniya schools, during his visit to the office of the Associate Director of the Husseiniya District. He also focused on the educational and administrative matters related to the needs of the students and the educational staff. On the other hand, residents of Husseiniya camp complained about the deterioration of their children's educational status and their poor educational attainment, due to the lack of attention given to them, and the failure to inform parents of the educational courses and activities held in schools. They called upon UNRWA and Husseini school principals to hold a parents’ meeting, to discuss their children’s educational levels and to hear their complaints.
