The Monitoring and Documentation Team of the AGPS stated that 25 refugees were killed during August. 17 of the refugees died of gunshots, 6 were tortured in the Syrian regime’s prisons, and two passed away due to the siege and lack of medical care.
According to the Group’s reports, the victims were found in the following Syrian governorates; 7 in Homs, 7 in Hama, two in Sidon, Lebanon, two in rural Damascus, one person in Damascus and 6 others have died in unknown locations.
