82 Palestinians have died in more than 12 countries since Syrian outbreak.

AGPS revealed in its statistical documentation report (15) issued at the beginning of August, that the number of Palestinian refugees who have died on migration routes or in the new asylum countries has reached 84 victims in more than 12 countries.

The AGPS monitoring and documentation team noted that 84 victims were documented in the asylum countries as follows: (15) refugees in Egypt, (15) in Lebanon, (17) in Libya, (8) others in Greece, (12) refugees in Turkey, (6) refugees in Malta, (3) people in Palestine, (3) in Italy, one in Sweden, one in Cyprus, a victim in Macedonia and (2) in Germany,

The AGPS had issued its 15th Statistical Report, in early August 2017, through which it addressed the overall statistics of Palestinian victims, detainees, refugees and displaced persons, since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution in March 2011 and until June 2017, through three main chapters and several subjects.

According to AGPS’s records, 3672 Palestinian refugees have died to date, due to direct reasons such as shelling, clashes, torture, detention, explosions and siege, and indirect reasons such as drowning during attempts to reach Europe in what has become known as “death boats”.
