After five years of detention, Syrian forces release Palestinian “Muhammed al-Khateeb”

Syrian government forces have released “Muhammad Mady al-Khateeb”, after spending five years of transitioning between Syrian security branches. He is a resident of Neirab camp for Palestinian refugees in Aleppo.

According to AGPS, 1636 Palestinians remain under Syrian detention, of which 97 are from Neirab camp and still missing. The actual number of Palestinian detainees is thought to be higher.
