AGPS’s Documentation and Monitoring Team revealed that is has recorded the death of 25 Palestinian refugees in August 2017, while only 12 were documented in the same month of 2016, in the ongoing Syrian conflict. According to AGPS, the victims were spread among the Syrian cities as follows: 7 died in Hums, 7 in Hama, 6 people’s places of death remain mysterious, 2 refugees in the Lebanese city of Sidon, 2 others in the Damascus suburb and 1 dead in Damascus.
While in August 2016, AGPS’s documents showed that the locations of the dead were as follows: 3 refugees died in Khan Al-Sheih camp, 4 died in Deraa, 2 in eastern Al-Ghouta, a refugee died on the outside of Handarat camp and 2 others died in separate locations.
